Nominations are now open for Eligible Members that wish to stand for election to the IPAA Victoria Board. As IPAA Victoria’s central governance mechanism, all Board Members have an opportunity to shape IPAA Victoria’s strategic priorities, contribute meaningfully towards achieving IPAA Victoria’s objectives, and ensure that IPAA Victoria continues to strengthen capability, impact and thought leadership across the public purpose sector.
Pursuant to IPAA Victoria’s Constitution, any Eligible Member may be nominated to stand for election to the Board. Eligible Members, as defined in IPAA Victoria's Constitution, includes:
- individuals employed at one of IPAA Victoria's member organisations;
- any Personal Member who has paid all applicable fees, and whose membership rights are not suspended for any reason;
- Honorary Life Members.
All nominations must be submitted using this form and endorsed by two (2) Eligible Members.
IPAA Victoria recognises that inclusion is key to enabling diversity. We welcome nominations from individuals reflecting any aspect of diversity and intersectionality.
Subject to the membership eligibility criteria, IPAA Victoria encourages nominations from:
- individuals working in, or who have retired from, any level of government or community, tertiary and private sectors working with the Victorian public sector;
- individuals studying a field relevant to the public sector.
All nominations must be submitted by 11.59pm (AEDT), Wednesday 14 October 2026. Late nominations are not permitted.
Once nominations have closed, IPAA Victoria will formally advise all Eligible Members of candidates standing for election and the election process.
If, by the close of nominations, the number of nominations received is equal to or less than the number of vacancies to be filled, then those nominated will be deemed to have been elected.
IPAA Victoria will advise all Eligible Members of its Annual General Meeting no later than 11:59pm (AEDT), Monday 19 October 2026.
