Satchel Appointment Form
Belonging is the signal before the numbers move. Attendance, behaviour and suspension data tell Trust leaders what has already happened. Belonging can indicate where students are beginning to disconnect—while there is to act. From 7 September 2026, Ofsted’s updated inspection toolkit explicitly considers whether students feel that they belong and are valued within their school community. The DfE also expects every school to monitor students’ sense of belonging and engagement by 2029. But collecting pupil voice is not enough. A survey provides responses. Trust leaders need to know where risk is developing, which cohorts are most affected and whether the right action is being taken.Satchel Pulse is a Trust-wide early-warning and improvement cycle:Measure → Segment → Respond → Assure Satchel are inviting a small number of Trusts to complete a free Belonging Audit: ● Choose any two academies ● Establish a belonging baseline mapped to Ofsted’s 2026toolkit ● Compare key cohorts through Wonde MIS integration ● Receive a Trust-level findings review with our education team Within half a term, you will see where belonging is strongest, where risk may be emerging and where leaders should focus next.
