  • Candy Carnival Volunteer Registration

    Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Candy Carnival. We are excited that you are taking this opportunity to serve with us! We are looking for people to help to setup, cleanup, and run games. The carnival itself runs from 1-4pm on Saturday, October 24, 2026. Shifts and times are outlined below.  (Note: background checks are not needed for volunteers as children will be attending with their parent/guardian.)

  • We are looking for volunteers to be Game Captains. This role involves overseeing a small section of games, making sure that the volunteers in your area know how to run their games, and general troubleshooting. The commitment for this is Fri, Oct 23, 7:30-9pm AND Sat, Oct 24 12-4pm.*
  • We are looking to once again have face painting this year. Would you be interested in learning more about helping in this area?
  • Description of Volunteer Positions during the Carnival :  

    • Games: Run a game with a partner for length of the carnival. (no limit)
    • Game Captain: Oversee 4-5 games by teaching the games to the volunteers as they arrive. Float between the games and make sure they run smoothly during the Carnival. Short pre-Carnival training meeting required. (5 people)
    • Food: Help prepare and serve food in the kitchen and serving room (5-6 people)
    • Trade-in Table: Help attendees trade their candy and candy cash for prizes (5-6 people)
    • Floater: Assigned to a specific area of carnival.  Replenish candy at games, give breaks to game runners, help as needed in assigned area (2-3 per area, 10-15 total)

    By signing up for one of these positions, you are committing to the WHOLE TIME (12-4pm), unless otherwise communicated in the "comments" section at the bottom of this form.

     

  • Please rank the following positions in order of preference. We will try to assign you to your preferred area, but we also need to be sure that all areas are filled in order for the Carnival to run effectively.*

  • In case of bad weather (unseasonable fall snow storm), I would be available for a rescheduled Candy Carnival on the next day, Sunday, October 27, 2-5pm.*
