This workshop will encourage early and advanced-early career dancers and choreographers to build an annual operating budget and will go over bookkeeping basics. By acknowledging artists as entrepreneurship and small businesses, this workshop will help individual dance artists and those leading collectives, small organizations, or other entities to learn to use budgets and bookkeeping as tools to plan, track, and scale their work through practices that encourage equity and sustainability.
