Social media and the online world is positioned as the primary place to share our ideas and connect with our people. However, increasing censorship, surveillance, and impacts on our mental health leave us looking for alternatives. In this workshop we will explore historical methods of sharing information and ideas in times of repression. Informed by El Paquete in Cuba, participants will share and collect media using usb/ hard drive swapping, as well as zine making.
