REACH is a free, two-and-a-half-year program that begins during your junior year of high school and continues through the summer following your first year of college. Joining REACH means committing to the full program and participating in all required workshops, meetings, activities, and trips throughout the two-and-a-half-year experience. Students are expected to participate in every part of the program rather than selecting only the opportunities that interest them most.
REACH students are expected to:
Attend and actively participate in workshops, individual check-ins, outdoor experiences, college tours, and other required activities.
- Communicate consistently with REACH staff and respond by the requested deadlines.
- Treat other students, staff, partners, and community members with respect.
- Follow REACH’s safety expectations and program guidelines.
- Be open to new experiences, challenges, feedback, and personal growth.
- Contribute to a supportive and inclusive cohort community.
- Balance REACH responsibilities with school, family, work, and other commitments.
We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise. Students are expected to communicate with staff when challenges affect their participation.
