In the event you are awarded a scholarship, First Command Educational Foundation (FCEF) reserves the right to use your name, photograph, and scholarship award information in FCEF publications, on its website, social media platforms, or other promotional products. Eligibility
Applicants are required to provide:
- Proof of marriage to an eligible service member or veteran
- Proof of eligibility for:
  - Active duty
    
    Current active duty orders
  - Activated Guard and Reserve members
    
    Proof of service letter, and
    
    Current Title 10/Title 32 military orders dated within the current year
  - U.S. Military Veterans, honorably discharged
    
    DD Form 214, or
    
    Service Verification Letter
- GED program acceptance letter or proof of enrollment, including cost
- Completed application
Criteria
- Applicant has not earned a high school diploma or equivalent
- Enrolled in, or accepted to a state-approved GED equivalency program
