Everest Base Camp sits at 17,598 ft (5,364 m) in the heart of Nepal’s Khumbu Valley and is one of the world’s most sought-after adventure treks. With CTSS, you’re not simply trekking to the outskirts of Base Camp and turning around. You’ll experience Everest alongside our climbing expedition, gaining a rare look at life on the world’s highest mountain.
Reaching Everest Base Camp does not require technical climbing experience, crampon skills, or ropework, but it is still a serious physical challenge. You’ll spend multiple days hiking at altitude over steep and uneven terrain, adapting to increasingly thin air, and repeating that effort day after day.
The goal isn’t simply to make it to Base Camp. It’s to arrive prepared enough to enjoy the journey there.
Our CTSS Everest Base Camp Readiness Test will help you measure where you stand across the six areas that matter most: fitness and trekking readiness, altitude readiness, expedition mindset, gear systems, and your No D*ckheads factor.
