This summer, working people in Forsyth County came together across race to save the jobs of exceptional children teachers and claw back millions in funding for our public schools.
We demanded real solutions to the budget and affordability crises in our county and won!
Now, corporate state lawmakers have put two tax amendments on the ballot that would double down on the budget cuts without providing real relief for working people who own their homes. When we vote against these amendments and demand real solutions - like a property tax assistance program for working people - then our families and schools will have what they need to thrive.
