  • Upgrades & Development of Home Grounds

Clubs developing or upgrading their Home Ground should not face barriers toparticipation. Clubs will be permitted to ground share at the start of, or during,
a season, provided that the ground share meets competition ground
requirements and rules. Said groundshare must be for a maximum period of
12-months and subject to ratification of the Northern Amateur Football League
Board. For clarity, Clubs who have commenced developing their ground will
not face barriers to entry provided that the club can evidence, to the
satisfaction of the Northern Amateur Football League Board, that the
development confirms the ground will comply with all Ground Criteria and
rules upon completion, and be completed within a maximum 12-month
timeframe from development works commence. Should an Applicant Club find
themselves currently upgrading or developing their Home Ground, that
Applicant must submit all information as requested by the Board of the
Northern Amateur Football League in order for the Board to determine their
suitability to meet the Ground Criteria and rules of the competition. Any
decision in this regard is solely at the discretion of the Northern Amateur
