This Program is dedicated to assisting caregivers of friendly community mother cats and their healthy, adoptable kittens in Pinellas County. 

Please read the following information CAREFULLY and fill out the questionaire below. An Operation: SNIP staff member will contact you after we receive your application. 

The cost is $20 PER CAT and includes the following:

• Spay/Neuter
• FVRCP booster
• Rabies Vaccine* (for cats over 3 months of age)
• Dose of Nexgard Combo (a 30-day parasite preventative)

Eligibility Requirements:

• Mother cat must be friendly/handleable* 
• Kittens must be 2 pounds at time of surgery and in good health
• Caregivers must be commited to weaning and caring for mother and kittens until adoption
• A $20 NON-REFUNDABLE** deposit per cat is required to schedule

* Untame/feral cats are not eligible for this program. Please contact an organization that offers TNVR services, like Friends of Strays*

Additional services available at the time of spay/neuter surgery (at cost to caregiver) include:

• 24 PetWatch Microchip
• FeLV/FIV Testing 
• Feline Leukemia Booster
• Intestinal Parasite Screening
• Deworming
• Gabapentin to go home

Logistical Requirements:

• Spay/Neuter appointments are available Monday-Thursday.
• Mandatory 7am drop off-time
• Pick-up time is between 3-4pm
• All cats must come in a secure, carrier LABELED with pet's name and caregiver's last name. Kittens can share a carrier, if under 3 months of age, but the mother cat needs to be in her own carrier. 

** In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment(s), you will be required to place a new deposit to secure your new date. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
