Gold Coast Water Polo U12 Fun 5’s 2027
Join us for an exciting Gold Coast Water Polo Fun 5’s event, specifically aimed at promoting the sport on the Gold Coast! The Gold Coast Water Polo (GCWP) committee is committed to growing water polo in our community, and this event is a fantastic opportunity for children to get involved in a fun and friendly competition.
Event Details
- Date: Sunday, TBA August 2027
- Venue: Gold Coast Aquatic Centre
- Atmosphere: Fun and friendly, encouraging participation and enjoyment of Water Polo.
- Registration: Minimum registration required is Bronze.
- Games: Teams are guaranteed to play a minimum of 5 games.
Age Divisions
This year, we will have two age divisions, accommodating various age groups for both boys and girls:
- U10: Mixed boys and girls born in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020
- U12: Boys and girls born in 2015, 2016, 2017
What is Fun 5's
- Teams max 8 with 4 field players with 1 goalkeeper
- Smaller field 20 x 16.
- No shot clock.
- No direct shots after a foul.
- Exclusions swim to the corner then back in.
- 2 x 8 minutes halves.
