Independent Study/Readings Request
Article 18.5 Faculty supervising more than six (6) student credit hours (SCH) of Independent Study/Readings per academic year (not including the summer session) shall be compensated starting with the seventh (7) SCH. Independent Study/Readings conducted during the summer session and Independent Study/Readings resulting in more than six (6) SCH during the academic year shall be compensated at the rate of $75/SCH.
Submission process
Once the Independent Study/Reading request has been approved, the faculty member will receive an email containing additional instructions. Please retain this email. After the Independent Study/Reading has been completed and the grade has been submitted, the faculty member must use the instructions provided in the approval email to initiate completion of the Independent Study/Reading. This notification will prompt the compensation process.
