• Eric J. Gennuso and LeRoy D. (Bud) Loy, Jr. Scholarship Application Form

    Application Deadline - December 4, 2026

  • Every year, ACEC/PA is pleased to award at least one $2,500 scholarship to a qualified engineering student through the Eric J. Gennuso and LeRoy D. (Bud) Loy, Jr. Scholarship Program.

    To qualify, you must be a US citizen and currently be a sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a bachelors degree in engineering, science or construction management. You must also meet at least one of the following three requirements:

    ·       Be a Pennsylvania resident; or

    ·       Be living outside of Pennsylvania but attend a college or university within the state; or

    ·       Be a current or past intern at a current ACEC/PA member firm

    You must submit this application in its entirety, including recommendation form and official transcripts. Transcipts may be electronically delivered or mailed to the office at the address below.

    Complete ALL sections of this application. The recommendation form must also be completed by a professor or employer ONLY. All parts of the application must be completed and received no later than 4pm Friday, December 4, 2026.     Judging will be based on the following 100-point scale: Grade Point Average (up to 25 points), Work Experience (up to 25 points), Extracurricular Activities & Awards (up to 25 points), and Essay (up to 25 points).

    Past recipients are welcome to apply again; however, please be sure to submit a fresh essay that reflects your current experiences, growth, and goals rather than reusing prior submissions.
