Job Description
The Part-Time Maintenance Staff plays a vital role in maintaining one of Central Kentucky's premier community parks. Team members are responsible for helping ensure Anderson-Dean Park remains clean, safe, attractive, and ready to welcome more than 400,000 visitors each year. Working alongside the Maintenance Director and Operations Team, Maintenance Staff will assist with grounds maintenance, facility upkeep, repairs, athletic field preparation, and special events.
Position Summary
The Part-Time Maintenance Staff position is responsible for supporting the daily maintenance, operation, and appearance of Anderson-Dean Park by ensuring all grounds, athletic facilities, buildings, and equipment are clean, safe, and well-maintained. This position performs a variety of tasks including groundskeeping, facility maintenance, preventative equipment maintenance, event setup, repairs, and seasonal upkeep. Maintenance Staff work closely with the Maintenance Director and Operations Team to prepare the park for daily visitors, athletic events, tournaments, and community programs while responding to maintenance needs and helping create a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for all park guests. Hours: 15-20 per week during peak seasons. Pay: $14-$17 per hour depending on experience. Some evening and weekend availability may be required. Experience with lawn equipment, tools, landscaping, general maintenance, small engine repair, or skilled trades is a plus but not required.
