I agree to return the boat on time. TX Boat Rental provides a 10-minute grace period from the scheduled return time; after that, late fees are billed in 15-minute increments. My return time is my Departure Time above plus my Rental Duration.

SAFETY BRIEFING — Please review each item with the renter:

• ALCOHOL: The operator will NOT consume alcohol or any impairing substance while operating the vessel. Texas BWI laws apply.

• ENGINE OFF: The engine must be OFF anytime anyone is in the water, boarding a tube or lily pad, or returning to the boat. No exceptions.

• CHILDREN & LIFE JACKETS (TX LAW): All children under 13 must wear a Coast Guard–approved life jacket at all times while the vessel is underway.

• REAR SEATING AREA: When the boat is in motion, the rear-area safety chains must be closed at all times for any passenger seated in the back.

• BOW SAFETY: No sitting or standing on the bow, gates, or railings while underway.

• DEPTH & SHALLOW WATER: Depth screens have been reviewed. Stay in charted deep water — Lake Travis has rocks and shoals in shallow areas.

• ANCHORING: Do NOT anchor near docks. If the anchor gets caught or lost, the renter is responsible for recovery costs. Be careful of seats, and of gel-coat and paint on the exterior when deploying and retrieving the anchor — any exterior damage caused during anchoring is the renter's responsibility.

• DOCKING AT RESTAURANTS: Deploy all bumpers/fenders before tying up to prevent damage to the boat or the dock.

• MUSIC VOLUME: Keep music at a respectful volume, especially in coves and near other boaters.

• WEATHER: Renter has reviewed the day's weather forecast and understands lake conditions can change quickly.

• REGISTRATION LOCATION: Location of TX registration and HIN has been shown — renter can produce them if requested by TPWD, USCG, or other authority.

• CAPACITY: Maximum passenger count is 12.

• BEFORE-DEPARTURE PHOTOS: Both staff and renter have taken photos of the boat's condition at departure.

• ALL COMPARTMENTS: Walk-through of all storage compartments completed.

• TRASH: Renter will remove all trash before returning the boat — a cleaning fee applies to dirty returns.

• EMERGENCY: In an emergency, call 911 or Marine Channel 16, then notify TX Boat Rental at bookings@txboatrental.com or by phone.
