Supplementary Regulations
The event will be held under the National Sporting Code of the ACU/SACU, the applicable Standing Regulations, the 2026 Scottish Classic Trials Championship Regulations and these Supplementary Regulations.

1. Entries
   All entries must be submitted through the official online entry form and accompanied by the appropriate entry fee. An entry is not confirmed until payment has been successfully received.
2. Championship Entries
   Entries on the day will not be accepted for Scottish Classic Trials Championship competitors.
3. Signing On
   All riders must sign on and collect their rider number before the start of the event. Rider numbers must be clearly displayed throughout the trial.
4. Machine Eligibility
   Machines entered in Championship classes must comply with the eligibility requirements applicable to the class entered. The organisers reserve the right to refer any question of eligibility to the appropriate Championship official or SACU representative.
5. Non-Championship Entries
   Non-Championship entries are welcome, including eligible classic and modern machines, subject to the route and class options provided by the organising club.
6. Marking
   The event will be observed under No Stop rules in accordance with the applicable SACU/ACU regulations.
7. Course and Direction of Travel
   Riders must follow the flagged route, ride in the designated direction and comply with all instructions issued by officials. Riders must not deliberately leave the authorised course or enter areas outside the permitted event ground.
8. Sections
   Sections must be attempted in the prescribed order unless otherwise instructed by the Clerk of the Course. Riders must not repeatedly ride or “double up” sections out of sequence.
9. Time Limit
   The overall event time limit will be 4 hours unless otherwise advised at signing on or by the Clerk of the Course.
10. Closing of Sections
    Sections will begin to close behind the official back markers from the published closing time. Riders must not attempt a section after it has been closed.
11. Observers and Officials
    Riders, assistants and supporters must treat observers and officials with respect at all times. Abusive, aggressive or argumentative behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in exclusion from the event.
12. Kill Switches
    Lanyard-type engine cut-out devices must be fitted and operational where required by the applicable regulations. Appropriate exemptions apply to eligible Pre-65 machines using magneto ignition.
13. Road Crossings and Public Areas
    Riders must comply with all instructions given by officials at road crossings, access tracks and any area shared with the public or other land users.
14. Environmental Responsibility
    Riders must take reasonable steps to prevent fuel, oil or other contaminants from entering the ground or watercourses. Any spill must be reported to an official immediately.
15. Paddock and Parking
    Riders and supporters must park only in areas designated by the organising club and must not obstruct access routes, gateways or emergency access.
16. Dogs and Spectators
    Dogs must be kept under control at all times. Spectators and supporters must remain clear of sections, riders and official routes unless directed otherwise by an event official.
17. Instructions from Officials
    The instructions of the Clerk of the Course, Secretary of the Meeting and other authorised officials must be followed at all times.
18. Changes to the Event
    The Clerk of the Course reserves the right to amend sections, routes, schedules or other event arrangements where required for safety, weather, ground conditions or operational reasons.
19. Retirement from the Event
    Any rider who retires from the event must notify an official before leaving the venue.
20. Results
    Provisional results may be published following the event and will be subject to the applicable SACU/ACU regulations and Championship procedures.
