To the best of our abilities, we at the Hermitage Artist Retreat are taking precautions to establish a safe and enjoyable event. We are asking that all guests abide by our seating policies and follow the instructions of the Hermitage staff and volunteers. We ask all guests to understand and acknowledge the risks involved in attendance. By registering for this Hermitage event, you acknowledge and agree to accept sole responsibility for any injury (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness caused by viral transmission or other means, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, to you or those with whom you come into close contact, including but not limited to members of your household. You hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless the Hermitage Artist Retreat, Inc., its employees, board of directors, and representatives, of and from any claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. You further understand and agree that this release includes any claims based on actions, omissions, or negligence of the Hermitage Artist Retreat, its employees, board of directors, and representatives. By registering for and attending this event, you agree to abide by posted rules, warnings, or verbal instructions by the Hermitage, the venue where the event is held, and any government authority with respect to social distancing and sanitation guidelines. You further agree not to attend the event if you or anyone in your party has recently been diagnosed with or exposed to (or suspect that you may have been infected by or exposed to) a contagious virus, and in the event of such an exposure or infection, you agree to immediately discontinue your participation in the event and alert the Hermitage via e-mail or telephone. Please note that we have implemented a modest registration charge of five dollars for our free community programs. This registration fee helps to ensure accurate attendance and coverage, and to defray added costs related to registration systems and any applicable health and safety measures. Our core program expenses and operations are still covered by your generous donations, and we are continually grateful for your support. We look forward to seeing you at future Hermitage programs! All registration fees are non-refundable. In the event a Hermitage program is cancelled due to weather, artist scheduling, or other unforeseen circumstances, all reservation fees will be converted to contributions for the Hermitage.
