    Love, Portland is inviting self-formed cohorts of five organizations to apply together for our first three-year funding cohort.

     

    Before being asked to complete an application, interested cohorts will complete this brief eligibility screening to confirm that the cohort meets the basic requirements for this funding opportunity.

     

    Before you begin
    This screening should take approximately 5 minutes. You’ll be asked to confirm that your cohort:

    • Includes five organizations applying together*
    • Includes five organizations serving the Portland tri-county area
    • Collectively brings experience across all five of Love, Portland’s focus areas
    • Includes organizations that are 501(c)(3)s or fiscally sponsored
    • Is willing and able to participate three years of cohort meetings
    • Aligns with Love, Portland’s values and shared commitments

    *Please note: individual organizations may only apply with a maximum of two proposed cohorts

    If your responses indicate that your cohort meets these requirements, you’ll be asked to submit your screening for review.

     

    Our team will confirm eligibility within 3 business days and email your primary contact with next steps and a link to the full application.

  • Is your cohort made up of exactly five organizations applying together?*
  • Is each organization in your cohort only submitting with one or two cohort applications? (i.e. this application and up to one other).*

  • Eligibility 2- Geography

  • Do all five organizations in your cohort currently serve people in at least one* of the following counties: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas?*

  • *Organizations do not need to serve all three counties. Each participating organization must serve people within at least one of the three.

  • Eligibility 3: Focus Areas

  • Please enter the names of your five participating organizations.

  • Collectively, your five organizations must bring meaningful experience addressing all five of Love, Portland's focus areas.

    For each area below, select the organization(s) that bring relevant experience. More than one organization may be selected for an area, and an organization may bring experience in more than one area.

  • Are all five participating organizations either recognized as 501(c)(3) charitable organizations or operating under an eligible 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor?*

  • Eligibility 5 — Three-Year Commitment

  • Each organization in the selected cohort will receive $100,000 per year in unrestricted funding for three years and will be expected to actively participate in the cohort throughout that time.

  • Are all five organizations willing and able to participate fully in Love, Portland's three-year cohort?*
