In this four-part series, you will learn the basics of soft pastels, with demonstrations and lots of practice time. You will build your skills and confidence so by the 4th session, you'll be ready to create a larger piece from a photograph or object of your choosing.

About the instructor:

Helen Kleczynski has been painting with soft pastels for over 20 years. She is a Master Pastelist with the Pastel Society of America and has achieved Master Circle Status with the International Association of Pastel Societies. She enjoys teaching in small group settings to help each student find their inner artistic voice.

This class is for seniors (55+) and will be at the South County Senior Center located at 217 S Main St, Vicksburg, MI (inside the United Methodist Church).
