The Crossing Arts Alliance is proud to present The Cat's Meow, a juried exhibition celebrating feline-inspired art that pays tribute to both wild and domestic cats. Featuring artwork inspired by magnificent big cats such as tigers, lions, panthers and cougars, as well as our beloved house cat companions, this exhibition explores our enduring fascination with these remarkable creatures. Showcasing work in a wide variety of mediums, The Cat's Meow invites artists to capture the spirit, character, beauty, and allure of felines, making them the central focus of each piece.
The Cat's Meow will be on display at The Crossing Arts Alliance in downtown Brainerd, MN from January 12 - February 20, 2027.
Submission Deadline: December 18th, 2026
Artists may submit up to two submissions. Exceptions may be made for very small 2D pieces, ceramics, sculpture, etc. Exceptions will be at The Crossing Arts' discretion. Please email Program Manager, Amber, at amber@crossingarts.org, for more information.
