Distinguished DECA Chapter of the Month/Year Application Guidelines:

The Distinguished DECA Member awards program was created to recognize DECA chapters for their involvement in their school, community and the State organization. Any official Nebraska DECA chapters may apply.

Monthly winners and the Chapter of the Year will be featured on Nebraska DECA’s website, Facebook, Twitter, at SCDC, and will be eligible to win allocations for up to five chapter members to attend ICDC professional development academies.
New applications (which include uploading a recent chapter photo and advisor approval) must be submitted by the 15th of the month.
A committee selects a Distinguished DECA Chapter each month for the months of September, October, November, December, January and February.
Each monthly winner will be notified no later than the first week of the month following the above stated deadline.
To be considered for Member of the Year, the six monthly winners may edit their award application in Jotform before review by the selection committee no later than February 23rd.

The Distinguished DECA Chapter of the Year will be announced at the State Career Development Conference.
