• Hunter Valley Football Association - Coach Academy Application Form

  • The Hunter Valley Football Association Coach Academy is a development program for coaches aged 15–25 who are motivated to grow their coaching knowledge, confidence and leadership skills.

    The program combines off-season education, practical learning, mentoring and in-season live observations to support coaches in applying what they learn within their own coaching environment.

    The Academy will run from late October 2026 through to mid-September 2027, with the majority of workshops delivered during the off-season from late October to February, followed by ongoing mentoring and live coaching observations during the season from late April to September.

    The program is designed for coaches who demonstrate coachability, motivation, curiosity, commitment and a growth mindset. Previous coaching experience or qualifications are valued, but the focus is on potential and willingness to learn.

    This is an opportunity to develop as a coach, connect with other emerging coaches and contribute to stronger coaching and player experiences across our community clubs.
