Artist Sign-Up for Boundless Expressions Art Exhibition

• This is an inclusive art exhibition celebrating the creativity of children, teens, and adults with disabilities. • This art exhibition is being curated by the Art Club of McKinney and HUGS Cafe Inc at the new HUGS world headquarters, 221 Andrews Street. Please email presidentartclubmckinney@gmail.com with questions. • DATES: Check in of artwork will be Monday, Oct. 5th from 8:00am-3:00pm. We prefer the artwork to be framed or matted. The art exhibition will be held Tuesday, Oct. 6 - Saturday, Oct. 10th, 8:00am-3:00pm. A Meet the Artist Reception will be held on Saturday, Oct. 10th from 1:00-3:00pm. It is optional for artists to attend the reception. All artwork needs to be picked up by the artist/family on Saturday, Oct. 10th, or Monday morning, Oct. 12th from 8:00am-10:00am. • There is a children/teen division and an adult division. Entries will be capped at 40 children/teen entries and 80 adult entries. • Artwork must be 2D. This year we are not accepting sculptures, etc. Artwork must be able to "hang on a wall." • While there is no size requirement, we may not be able to accept artwork that is larger than 16"x20" - this will be decided on a case by case basis, depending on how much room remains when art is checked in. • And, as is understandable, we retain the right to not accept artwork of subject matter not acceptable to be shown in a public place to people of all ages or artwork that is tattered or worn looking. • There is no fee to enter.
