Hometown Hero Award

The Hometown Hero Award is an opportunity to recognize county Farm Bureau members who have rendered outstanding service to the Young Farmers & Ranchers program and Farm Bureau.

YF&R can benefit from the exceptional guidance of community leaders who support the program through legislative awareness, community outreach, or engagement with the Farm Bureau.

California YF&R would like to recognize those who have made exceptional contributions to the County YF&R Committees.

The Hometown Hero award is presented in memory of Randy Rocca, long time YF&R supporter from Fresno County.
Each county YF&R committee may submit ONE nomination.

Qualifications: The nominee must be a:
- County Farm Bureau member
- Supporter of county YF&R program and/or YF&R member(s)
- Active member of the community
- Past YF&R members encouraged (ex. state or local committee board, competed in awards, etc.)
