Michael Avidan Award for Mentorship in Science

The Michael Avidan Award for Mentorship in Science recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional mentoring abilities, fostering the academic, professional, and personal growth of their mentees. Nominees should have a proven track record of guiding mentees to achieve their goals, whether through successful research projects, publications, or significant career milestones.
Eligibility
- Nominees must be members of IARS.
- The recipient must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in anesthesia research,
- Nominees should demonstrate a sustained record of mentoring trainees
- Nominees from the entire IARS international community are encouraged to apply
- Nominations should be initiated by and include letters of support from 2 current or former mentees
