    2026 Chicago club managers foundation middle management professional development scholarship (MEG)

  • Dear Applicant,

    The Greater Chicago Club Managers Foundation is committed to supporting the professional growth and development of club management professionals within the Greater Illinois Chapter of CMAA.

    The Middle Management (MEG) Professional Development Scholarship provides financial assistance to managers and assistant managers seeking to further their education and advance their careers in the private club industry.

    Scholarship funds may be used toward approved CMAA professional education, including:

    CMAA Business Management Institute (BMI) programs
    CMAA World Conference on Club Management
    CCM Certification Review Course
    Greater Illinois Chapter educational programs
    Other CMAA educational programs approved by the Foundation
     

    Scholarship funds must be used within two years of the award date. Awards are subject to available Foundation funding and approval by the Foundation Board.

  • SUBMISSION CHECKLIST:

    Please submit:

    • Completed scholarship application
    • Applicant essay of no more than 500 words
    • General Manager/COO letter of recommendation
    • Current résumé
    • Information regarding the educational program for which funding is requested 

    Application Submittal Deadline: October 15th, 2026

    Scholarship recipients will be selected by the Greater Chicago Club Managers Foundation based upon the strength of the application, demonstrated commitment to the club management profession, professional development goals, chapter and industry involvement, and the anticipated benefit of the requested educational opportunity.

    All scholarship decisions of the Foundation are final.
