  • LIABILITY AND MEDICAL RELEASE

    By participating in the Southeastern Women In Music Symposium, all participants hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

    Release of Liability: The primary duty of the Symposium is to provide a comprehensive educational and empowering event. Consequently, participants and their families expressly agree not to hold the Symposium or any of its affiliated entities liable for the welfare and safety of any participant.

    Medical Emergency Decisions: In the event of a medical crisis, the on-site Executive Directors of the Symposium retain the authority to summon an ambulance if determined to be necessary. However, it is important to note that neither the Symposium, its leadership, volunteers, nor the host site bear any financial responsibility for medical treatment or associated expenses.

    By attending the Symposium, all participants acknowledge that they have thoroughly read, comprehended, and fully agreed to the terms outlined in this Liability and Medical Release Statement.

  • MEDIA RELEASE

    By participating in the symposium, all participants hereby grant permission to the Southeastern Women In Music Symposium, its representatives and sponsoring partners to use any photograph(s) and/or video(s) obtained through the Southeastern Women in Music Symposium for promotional and marketing purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of my image in print materials, websites, social media, newsletters, press releases and other promotional materials.

    If your registration fee will be paid by your school or booster program, please email info@southeasternwomeninmusicsymposium.org.

  • By signing, I acknowledge my commitment to participation to the Southeastern Women in Music Symposium. I understand that this fee is non-refundable, as it is allocated directly to the symposium’s operations and essential expenses necessary for the planning and quality execution of the event. This policy ensures the continued quality and success of the symposium for all attendees.
