Required Adoption Agreements
Returning Dog: If for any reason you are unable to keep the dog in the future the dog must be returned to Before the Bridge for re-adoption as opposed to being turned in to a pound, sold or placed through a free-to-good home ad Required)
Euthanasia / Rehoming: Unless for extreme health issues no dog adopted from us may be euthanized or re-homed without our written consent. (Required)
Repossessing Dog: Before the Bridge Senior K9 Rescue reserves the right to repossess any adopted dog in the event that the rescue has reasons to believe the dog is being mistreated, housed in unsafe or potentially unsanitary conditions, or if information supplied on this form is discovered untruthful.(Required)
Fines: BBSK9R reserves the right to place a $2500 fine through court against anyone who breaches this contract by abusing, euthanizing (other than old age or serious illness), neglecting or rehoming any dog adopted through us.(Required)
BBSK9R’s adoptions have a two week trial period. If for any reason during that time BTBSK9R or the potential adopter determine the dog is not a good fit for the home & family, the dog is returned to BBSK9R and the adoption fee (minus a $25 administration fee) is refunded. If for any reason a dog on an adoption trial requires medical attention , you must notify the Rescue and take the dog to one of our authorized Vets (Equi-Tech Veterinary Clinic North of the city or Kenaston Vet). If there is an emergency situation and the dog is seriously injured or is in serious trouble, visit the nearest Vet and advise the Rescue as soon as possible. Agreement and Liability Acknowledgement - By writing your name and/or initials below you are agreeing to the terms outlined above. If the terms are not met you the undersigned will be liable and legal action may be taken. If BBSK9R is forced to take legal action, the party against whom action is taken will be liable for court costs. (Required)
