John Ball Zoo- Zoo Goes Boo

Zoo Goes Boo outing at John Ball Zoo on Sunday, October 25! 🎃🦁

Zoo Goes Boo is a fun Halloween-themed day at the zoo! Participants are welcome and encouraged to wear a costume if they would like. There will be trick-or-treating stations throughout the zoo, along with plenty of opportunities to see and explore the animals and exhibits.

👻 Costume Reminder: Please make sure costumes are comfortable and appropriate for walking around the zoo. Participants are also welcome to attend without a costume.

📍 Outing Details – Choose Your Transportation Option:

🚐 Option 1: Ride in the Sidekicks Van

Location: Grand Haven Meijer – Letter K

Drop-Off: 10:00 AM
Pick-Up: 3:00 PM

🦓 Option 2: Meet Us at John Ball Zoo

Location: Parking area near the John Ball Zoo Main Gate
Address: 1300 Fulton St W, Grand Rapids, MI 49504
Drop-Off: 11:00 AM
Pick-Up: 2:00 PM

Reminder – No Early Drop-Offs

• Staff will begin check-in no earlier than 5 minutes prior to the designated start time. 
• While you may see staff arriving or preparing beforehand, participants cannot be dropped off early.
  Please plan to arrive at the designated drop-off time to help ensure a safe, smooth, and organized start for everyone.

🎒 What to Bring:

• Dress for the weather
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Filled water bottle
• Packed lunch (We will not have a cooler to put them in, they should fit in their personal bag.

• Outings canceled within 1 week of the scheduled date may be subject to invoicing. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please use the cancellation link on our website as soon as possible so we can adjust plans and offer the spot to someone on the waitlist.
