At Lizzy's Lodge, we take the time to really get to know every dog in our care - their personality, quirks, and what kind of home will make them happiest. This application is the first step in a caring process designed to match you with the pup who's truly right for your family. We're not just looking for any home - we're looking for the right home, and we're excited to help you find the perfect addition to your family.

    Before you get started, here's what we ask of every adopter:

    • Be 21 years of age or older
    • Possess ID showing your current address
    • Obtained the knowledge and consent of your landlord and/or everyone living with you
    • Be ready and able to provide training, medical care, and love for your new pup
    • Welcome a friendly home visit from one of our representatives
    • Completing this application doesn't guarantee adoption, but it's the best way for us to get to know you!

  • Here's What You Can Expect

    1. Our adoption team will review your application and set up a phone call - a great chance for you to ask us anything about the pup you're interested in.

    2. Next, we'll schedule a home visit. Think of it less like an inspection and more like a chance for us to meet you and see the cozy spots your new best friend will get to nap in.

    3. We'll share everything we know about the dog's schedule, behavior, and medical history so the transition home feels smooth and easy for both of you.

    4. If it's a good match all around, we'll pick a move-in day for your new baby!

    5. Even after adoption day, our foster/adoption team is always just a message away for any questions, forever.
