Waiver/Participation Agreement: All Programs, Games, Events, Festivals and Tournaments. With sports, all programs and activities have their risks. The game of soccer is physically and mentally challenging. In my participation in such programs, activities and events, I hereby acknowledge that I am aware of the risks and hazards associated with or related to this sporting activity. Please note the following risks and hazards but are not limited to: Injuries from executing strenuous and demanding physical techniques in soccer Injuries from dryland training including weights, running, and massage; Injuries from grass, turf and other surfaces including bacterial infections and rashes; Injuries resulting from falls to the ground due to uneven or irregular terrain or surfaces; Injuries from collisions with walls and soccer equipment; Injuries resulting from failure to properly use any piece of equipment or from the mechanical failure of any piece of equipment; Spinal cord injuries which may render me permanently paralyzed; Injuries from extreme weather conditions which may result in heatstroke, sunstroke orhypothermia; Injuries from contact, colliding or being struck by other participants, spectators, equipment or vehicles; Injuries resulting from vigorous physical exertion and strenuous cardiovascular workouts; Injuries from exerting and stretching various muscle groups; and Travel to and from competitive events and associated non-competitive events which are an integral part of the organization’s activities. I am further aware that: Injuries sustained in soccer can be severe; That I may experience anxiety while challenging myself during the activities; That I may come into close contact with other participants, including the possibility of accidental and unexpected contact. That my risk of injury is reduced if I follow all rules established for participation; and That my risk of injury increases as I become fatigued. I agree to be responsible for myself, I am participating voluntarily in these activities, events and programs. I agree that there are risks in participating in soccer as described above but not limited to the above. By participating voluntarily in these events, activities and programs, I am exposed to these risks and hazards. I agree to accept them and be responsible for any injury or other loss, which I might receive while participating in these events, activities and programs. If something happens to me, I release the organizers of responsibility for any claims, demands, actions and costs which might arise out of my participation. In this Agreement I understand “organizers” to mean: Next Generation Football Club (NextGen FC), Associations, Leagues, Clubs and their directors, officers, members, employees, volunteers, officials, participants, clubs, agents, sponsors, owners/operators of facilities, and representatives. I acknowledge making this agreement I have read and understood the terms and conditions of this agreement, and by acknowledging voluntarily, I am agreeing to abide by these terms.
Policy on Weather Conditions – Next Generation Football Club (NextGen FC) uses the Environment Canada Predicted Humidex Reading when deciding whether soccer will be cancelled due to high temperatures. Humidex Policy: If the humidex is predicated to be 40 degrees or greater three hours prior to the session, it will be cancelled. There will be no re-scheduling of the practice or games. Severe Weather and Lightning Policy: If there is a severe thunderstorm issued due to safety, the session will be cancelled. There will be no re-scheduling of the practice or games. In most cases program sessions will still be on if it raining if not notified otherwise however, as soon as we hear thunder or lightning the session will be stopped and quickly make your way to a safe location. The safety of players, coaches and spectators is of outmost important during program sessions, games and tournaments. As soon as we hear thunderstorms, please get to a safe location quickly. Notification of Cancellation due to Weather Conditions: Next Gen Administrators will do their best to email participants two hours prior to the event if there are any cancellations due to the weather or field conditions. If at any time, you have any concerns with respect to weather conditions, please do what is in the best interest of your child. NextGen FC reserve the right to modify this policy for programs, games and tournaments.
Photo and Video Waiver and Release Please be advised that by participating in NextGen FCtraining sessions, games, events, tournaments and festivals that you acknowledgethat photos and video taken during these times remain the sole property of NextGenFC, and that they may be used in future and current print and online marketingcampaigns including our website. Furthermore, by participating you acknowledgethat NextGen FC can collect, use, disclose and store personal information forpurposes of grouping players, collecting/processing payments, and mail, email,or other digital and social media promotional/marketing material.
Refund & Cancellation Policy: At NextGen FC Soccer, we are committed to providing high-quality training programs while maintaining a structured and consistent schedule. Please review our refund and cancellation policy carefully before registering. No Refund Policy All registrations, fees, and payments are non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to, program fees, camps, clinics, drop-in sessions, and uniform purchases. Once a player is registered, their spot is reserved and program resources are allocated accordingly. No Make-Up Classes Make-up classes are not offered for missed sessions due to personal reasons, illness, travel, or scheduling conflicts. No make-up classes or credits will be provided for sessions cancelled due to weather conditions, facility closures, or other circumstances beyond our control. Program Cancellations In the rare event that NextGen FC Soccer must cancel a program entirely, participants will be notified as soon as possible. Any decisions regarding credits will be at the sole discretion of NextGen FC Soccer. Acceptance of Policy By registering for any NextGen FC Soccer program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this refund and cancellation policy.
