• Children's Library & Event Wing Survey

Survey Deadline: Wednesday, September 30, 2026
  • Stillwater Public Library is working with Collaborative Design Group (CDG) to explore possibilities for improving the Children’s Library and upper-level Event Wing, including the gallery, meeting rooms, and restrooms. The project will explore how these spaces can better support library programs, accessibility, community use, and day-to-day operations.

We would appreciate your input. This brief survey asks how you use these areas, what works well, what could work better, and what matters most to you. Your feedback will be considered along with staff experience, library usage, accessibility and operational needs, and other information as CDG develops and refines concepts.

  • 1. Have you or members of your household/family visited or used these areas in the past year? (Select all that apply.)
  • 2. When you use Children’s Library services, what do you most often come for? (Select all that apply.)
  • 3. What could make the Children’s Library work better for you or your family? (Choose up to three.)
  • 4. Thinking specifically about play and discovery experiences for children, what is most important to you? (Choose up to three.)
  • 5. Thinking about the library’s upper-level meeting, event, and gallery spaces, what should be most important as these spaces are improved? (Choose up to three.)
  • 8. Which best describes you? (Select all that apply.)
  • Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. Your input will help us plan library spaces that continue to serve the community well into the future.
