A handful of state lawmakers want to scam our community with two constitutional amendments on the ballot this fall. These amendments will let big corporations and rich people skip paying what they owe while working people pick up the tab. Neither amendment will save everyday people any money. If these amendments pass, it could mean billions of dollars in cuts to our public schools, health care, roads, emergency services, and other public services that we all rely on.
I'm ready to join Guilford for All-Carolina Federation to stop these amendments and win fully funded public schools for our kids and put working people first.
