WAITLIST | Quran Academy September 2026 - February 2027

ISNA Canada is excited to open the Quran Academy waitlist for the September 2026 - Februray 2027 term.

Submitting this form does not guarantee registration. The waitlist will help us assess classroom levels, scheduling needs, and available capacity before confirming placements for students. Families will be contacted once assessments and class capacities have been reviewed.

Our Quran Academy program involves a holistic approach to the study of the Quran, with a focus on reading, recitation, and memorization. We have professional and licensed teachers with multiple years of local and international experience, ready to offer you only the best experience. Open to individuals of all ages and levels of proficiency, this self-paced program includes small study circles with effective student-to-teacher ratios. 

The registration fee is $325.00 for the September 2026 - February 2027 term 

Days: Monday - Thursday

Quran Class Schedule for Youth (Ages 5-17): 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM *
*Breaks will be taken for Salah as needed.

Quran Class Schedule for Adults (ages 18+): 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM *
*Breaks will be taken for Salah as needed.

Classes will be held in person at ISNA Canada - ICC (2200 South Sheridan Way, Mississauga).

Key Dates: 

First Day of Class: Monday, September 14, 2026
Final Refund Date: Thursday, September 21, 2026 - refunds will NOT be considered after this date 
Winter Break: Monday, December 21 - Thursday, December 31, 2026
Classes Resume: Monday, January 4, 2027
Last Day of Class: Thursday Februray 4, 2027Last day of class for September 2026 - February 2027 term
Second Term *new registration required*: March - August 2027

Important Information:

• Assessments will take place on the first week of class. Students may be placed to a different class based on the assessment. 
• The cost for books (Qaida - $12 and Mushafs - $25) are separate. 
• Due to our ongoing costs of this program, we are not able to provide any refunds after the term has begun. No refunds will be considered for Quran
• Academy after Thursday, September 21st, 2026.
• As part of motivating our students, we occasionally provide nut-free snacks. If you prefer that your child not receive these snacks, please let us know and we will opt them out.

Levels Breakdown:

Qaida Beginner | Covers the Qaida from the beginning to approximately page 70, focusing on Arabic letters, pronunciation, and basic reading skills.

Qaida Intermediate & Advanced |For students completing the Qaida, focusing on fluency, pronunciation, advanced reading rules, and preparation for reading the Qur'an.

Quran Beginner | For students beginning to read the Qur'an, focusing on reading fluency, pronunciation (Tajweed), and building confidence while progressing through the Qur'an.

Quran Intermediate | For students continuing to read the Qur'an, focusing on reading fluency, pronunciation (Tajweed), memorization and building confidence while progressing through the Qur'an.

Quran Advanced Level (GIRLS) | For fluent readers, focusing on strengthening Tajweed, improving fluency and accuracy, and progressing in Qur'an reading.

Quran Advanced Level (BOYS) | For fluent readers, focusing on strengthening Tajweed, improving fluency and accuracy, and progressing in Qur'an reading.

Adult Class (WOMEN) | Designed for adult learners of all levels, with options for Qur'an reading, Tajweed, fluency, memorization (Hifz), and revision in a supportive learning environment.

Adult Class (MEN) | Designed for adult learners of all levels, with options for Qur'an reading, Tajweed, fluency, memorization (Hifz), and revision in a supportive learning environment.
