  • Join us for our Hunger Action Month Volunteer Day! As part of September Hunger Action Month, we are hosting this great volunteer opportunity to encourage the community to give back this Hunger Action month! 

    Our two volunteer events will be held on Wednesday Sept. 16, and Tuesday Sept. 29 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the South Texas Food Bank in Laredo, Texas. 

    We need volunteers for various tasks, including but not limited to: sorting food and preparing bags of food. Volunteers do not have to stay the entire day.

    Volunteers age 15 and older are welcome to apply (volunteers under the age of 15 need parental/guardian consent). Exceptions can be made for organization groups accompanied by sponsor(s).

    Volunteer slots for this event are limited. All volunteer submissions will be processed and prioritized in the order that they are received and accepted.
