About the AUC Woodruff Library Friends Council
The Atlanta University Center (AUC) Robert W. Woodruff Library is establishing a Friends Council composed of dedicated advocates, ambassadors, and supporters who are passionate about preserving and promoting Black history, culture, scholarship, and community engagement.

The Council will serve as a network of champions who help elevate awareness of the Library's mission, collections, programs, and impact. Members may include alumni, community leaders, professionals, donors, educators, researchers, and individuals who simply believe in the importance of preserving and sharing the stories and resources housed within the AUC Woodruff Library.

We welcome individuals from across the country. Current or past affiliation with the AUC is welcomed but not required.
