The Great Gift Find

The Great Gift Find is a special OUTDOOR holiday market created to make local holiday shopping easier, more meaningful, and a whole lot more fun.

We’re bringing together local makers, small businesses, farmers, bakers, specialty food producers, artists, and unique gift vendors so shoppers can find something for everyone on their list, while also stocking up for their holiday meals, gatherings, baking, and entertaining.

From handmade gifts and unique finds to farm-fresh ingredients, pies, baked goods, specialty foods, olive oils, preserves, holiday treats, and more, The Great Gift Find is designed to be a place where people can shop, eat, discover local businesses, and get ready for the holidays all in one stop.

We are intentionally curating the market to offer a mix of giftable products and holiday food, rather than filling the market with vendors selling the same types of items.

The Great Gift Find will be held at the same location as Altered Course Venue and the Sussex Farmers Market, creating an established local destination for shopping and community events.

⭐ 4-WEEK MINIMUM COMMITMENT
To create a consistent, well-curated market and give vendors the best opportunity to build recognition with shoppers, vendors must commit to a minimum of 4 market dates.

🛍️ A Holiday Market Designed to Be Shopped
The Great Gift Find isn't intended to be just another vendor event.

We want shoppers to come with a purpose: find gifts, stock the holiday table, pick up something delicious, discover a new local business, and leave feeling like they found something special.

That's why we're intentionally building a mix of vendors that gives shoppers a reason to come back each week.

We will promote The Great Gift Find throughout the holiday season and highlight participating businesses and vendors as part of our market marketing.

Please complete the application below with as much detail as possible.

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Vendors will be selected based on product quality, presentation, reliability, and the overall variety and balance of the market.

We may limit the number of vendors in any one category to prevent an oversaturated market and give participating businesses the best opportunity possible.

Please only apply if you are able to commit to at least 4 market dates.

The Great Gift Find is a curated, one-stop holiday shopping experience not a traditional open vendor market. Our goal is to create a beautiful, inviting market where shoppers can find gifts, holiday food, farm products, specialty items, and experiences all in one place.

To help us create the best experience for both shoppers and vendors:

Businesses of all types are welcome to apply, including established local businesses, small businesses, makers, farmers, food producers, and service-based businesses.

No MLM, direct-sales, or multi-level marketing businesses.

Vendors are expected to create a visually appealing, intentional display that complements the overall look and feel of the market. Tables should be thoughtfully arranged, clean, inviting, and professionally presented.

Please avoid simply placing products in boxes or leaving a bare table. Your booth is part of the shopping experience.

Vendor categories will be limited to maintain variety and prevent an oversaturation of similar products.

Vendors must provide their own tables, displays, tents, chairs, and other necessary equipment unless otherwise specified.

All vendors are responsible for complying with any applicable state and local licensing, permitting, health, and insurance requirements for their products or services.

Vendors are expected to remain set up for the entire market time and should not begin breaking down early.

Acceptance is not guaranteed by submitting an application. Applications are reviewed to ensure the overall vendor mix remains diverse and well-balanced.

Our goal is simple: we want shoppers to walk in and think, “I can get everything here.” From gifts and personalized items to farm products, baked goods, holiday meals, specialty foods, children's finds, and entertainment. The Great Gift Find is designed to be a true one-stop holiday shopping experience.

The Great Gift Find

A minimum commitment of 4 market dates is required.

November Series — 4 Markets
November 7, 14, 21 & 28
$240 total ($60 per market)

Holiday Series — 4 Markets
November 28, December 6, 13 & 20
$240 total ($60 per market)

Full Holiday Season — All 7 Markets
November 7, 14, 21, 28 & December 6, 13, 20
$364 total ($52 per market)

The Full Holiday Season commitment offers the best per-market rate and gives vendors the opportunity to build recognition with shoppers throughout the entire holiday season.

There is a 4% convience charge for payments made online.

Checks payable to: Altered Course Venue. Please reach out to us for check drop off arrangements.

Once your application is approved, online payment is the fastest way to guarantee your vendor space. Applications are coming in on a rolling basis, and spaces will be confirmed in the order that payments are received.

To keep The Great Gift Find fun and worthwhile for everyone, vendor categories will be limited to ensure a good variety of products and prevent an oversaturation of similar vendors.

Photography & Social Media Release:

I/We grant Altered Course LLC, The Sussex Farmers Market the right to use any photographs or videos taken of me, my booth, or my products during the event, in which I may be included with others, for promotional purposes. These materials may be used on Altered Course's, The Sussex Farmers Market social media platforms, including but not limited to websites, Google, Facebook, and Instagram, and may be shared with the public for purposes of illustration, advertising, promotion, or any other related uses. This includes the right to modify or alter the content without restriction.

I/We acknowledge and agree that Altered Course LLC, The Sussex Farmers Market is not liable for any claims arising from the use of such photographs or videos, including claims related to privacy or publicity rights. I/We hereby release Altered Course LLC and The Sussex Farmers Market from any liability related to the use of these materials.

This authorization applies to Altered Course LLC, The Sussex Farmers Market and its agents, and extends to its successors, assigns, and licensees. By signing this agreement, I confirm that I am a legally competent adult with the right to make such decisions on behalf of my business.

Payment, Weather & Cancellation Policy

Payments are made through Square.

The Great Gift Find is a rain-or-shine market. Vendors should plan to attend regardless of normal rain, cold, wind, or other typical seasonal weather.

In the event of extreme or unsafe weather conditions that make it necessary to cancel a market, Altered Course Venue will make the final determination based on safety and current weather conditions. Vendors will be notified as soon as a cancellation decision is made.

If Altered Course Venue cancels a market due to extreme or unsafe weather, the vendor fee for that specific market date will be credited toward another Great Gift Find market date, when available.

Vendor fees are non-refundable for vendor cancellations, no-shows, late cancellations, or a vendor's decision not to attend due to weather when the market remains open.

Please only commit to market dates you are prepared to attend.

Agreement & Signature

By signing below, you agree to follow all The Great Gift Find, Altered Course Venue and The Sussex Farmers Markets regulations, payment terms, and requirements.

You also acknowledge that your participation is not confirmed until payment and necessary documentation are received.

Rules & Regulations Compliance:

I/We certify that I am a professional/business owner who has read and agrees to comply with the Rules and Regulations of Altered Course LLC, The Sussex Farmers Markte and all relevant Federal, State, and Local health, safety, and labor standards. I understand that Altered Course LLC,The Sussex Farmers Market does not guarantee a specific quantity or quality of attendees or customers at any event.
