• Leimert Park Village Special Event Application Form

  • Welcome! Thank you for your interest in hosting an event in Leimert Park Village, the epicenter of African American culture in Los Angeles. 

    This application is administered by the Leimert Park Village Special Events Review Board, a community-rooted body comprised of representatives from:

    • Council District 10 
    • Crenshaw Corridor Leimert Park Business Improvement District (CCLPBID)
    • Local community-based organizations  
      • Leimert Park Village Merchants Association (LPVMA)
      • Leimert Park Village Inc (LPV Inc)
      • We Love Leimert (WLL)

    Together, we work to ensure that special events in the Village respect the area’s cultural history, strengthen local businesses, and contribute to Leimert Park’s continued role as a vibrant hub of creativity, commerce, and community life.

    This form is required for all events proposed in the Village and is especially important for events that anticipate high attendance, feature amplified sound or vendors, or request use of public streets and plazas. 

    It is your first step toward alignment with our Special Event Policy and Guidelines, which outline standards for community benefit, accessibility, merchant coordination, and public safety.

    We encourage applicants to review the full criteria before submitting. This application will help us evaluate your event’s fit, ensure appropriate planning, and connect you with local partners and resources.
