As a player in the National Deaf Football League, I agree to abide by the following Code of Conduct at all times Expectations: 1. Show respect to teammates, opponents, referees, coaches, and fans at all times. 2. Compete fairly and uphold sportsmanship on and off the field. 3. Follow all NDFL bylaws, rules, and regulations. 4. Accept the authority of referees, coaches, and Commissioners without dispute during games. 5. Promote a positive and inclusive environment for all players. 6. Each team is required to submit a recent headshot photograph of every player to the League no later than two (2) weeks before the team's first scheduled game. Headshots shall be used for player identification, roster verification, and League records. Prohibited Behavior: 1. Use of alcohol, drugs, or illegal substances at games or practices. 2. Fighting, threats, or attempts to incite violence. 3. Harassment, bullying, or discriminatory language/behavior. 4. Unsportsmanlike conduct, disorderly behavior, or offensive gestures. 5. Misconduct on social media (harassment, bullying, or league-related defamation). 6. Entering the field of play without authorization. Consequences: 1. 1st Violation: Suspension from current game + next game. 2. 2nd Violation: Suspension for 3 games. 3. 3rd Violation: Suspension for 1 year. 4. Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent removal from the league.
