• Davis Family Nursing Scholarship

  • Established in 2010 through a generous endowed gift, the Davis Family Nursing Scholarship reflects the Davis family’s lasting commitment to nursing education and the health of our communities. Their generosity continues to support future nurses year after year.

    Eligibility Criteria
    Applicants must have been accepted into a nursing program at an accredited college or university.

    Priority for the scholarship will be given to:

    • A student from the Astera Health service area pursuing a nursing degree who is in their second or third year of an ADN or BSN program, or who is completing a master’s or doctorate in nursing.
    • A student who plans to seek employment in the Astera Health service area after graduation.
    • A student who has demonstrated leadership, initiative, and active participation through employment, volunteerism, and/or community involvement.
    • A student who has a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or who meets the college or university’s minimum GPA requirement if that requirement is higher.
