Each January, the Art League of Ocean City pairs artists and writers to create an exhibition that explores both the visual and literary arts. This year, artists will submit work to be considered for the exhibit. All media is eligible, 2D & 3D. Due to limited space, artists will be juried in. Selected artwork will be presented to selected writers to use as inspiration for a poem or short prose. Please submit the application below with artwork to be considered.
Selected artwork will be available to selected writers on a first-come, first-served basis. Visual and literary works will be on display together for the month of January 2027. There is no fee to participate, but artists must be an Art League member.

Artwork Drop-off (by appointment): January 3-4, 2027
Exhibit Dates: January 8-30, 2027
Opening Reception: First Friday January 8, 5-7pm
Artwork Pick-up (by appointment): Sunday January 31, 2027
ELIGIBILITY: Artist must be 18 years or older. Once juried in, artists will select a piece of writing to use as inspiration. Artists will submit one piece of original artwork for display and sale. All hanging artwork must be securely framed and properly wired for hanging. The maximum outside frame dimensions may not exceed 32"x40".
