One octave major scale (ascending and descending)
One octave Major chord arpeggio (ascending and descending)
One octave minor chord arpeggio (ascending and descending)
One octave chromatic scale (ascending and descending) ONLY for Chamber Singers applicants.

If you are auditioning for Chamber Singers, you will also be asked to sing a pre-prepared excerpt, which you can find listed below.

Live Audition Guidelines

Repertoire Guidelines (Select ONE): Your selection should best showcase your vocal range, technical agility, and dramatic expression suited for Mozart's operatic style.
• Option A: Any Classical Piece (Opera aria, Art song, or Art-song style piece)
• Option B: Any Musical Theatre Piece composed before 1985

Important Audition Tips
Prioritize Familiarity: Do not try to learn a brand-new, difficult piece in 3 weeks. Choose a song you already know well and can perform comfortably from memory.
The First 2-minute Count: The audition panel may only listen to the first section of your piece. Make sure your vocal strengths, tone, and character presence are immediate from the very first measure.
