Written round: everyone writes answers, revealed at the end of the round.
Basic structure
• A host (or moderator) asks questions
• Usually played in two rounds
• Points awarded for correct answers, sometimes bonus points for speed or difficulty
Answering rules
• No shouting out — usually one person per team designated to write the final answer
• A time limit per question (often 1-2 minutes)
• Only the first answer given counts — no changing your mind after you’ve answered
Scoring
• 1 point per correct answer is standard, with harder questions or bonus rounds worth more
Fair play
• No phones, smart devices, or outside help during the round
