Join us for a gentle morning of stories, mathematics, nature study, making, and connection as families experience a little of what The Storybook Village is becoming.

Children will be invited to notice, wonder, explore, create, and learn together through thoughtfully prepared activities indoors and in the beautiful surroundings of Broad Meadow Brook.

This is a family-attended event, not drop-off care. A parent or caregiver must remain with children throughout the event.
Please include every adult and child who will attend. Broad Meadow Brook has a firm event capacity, so every person must be included in your reservation.

*Infants & Children under 2 do not need to be counted*

- Family Supervision
  
  A Morning in the Storybook Village is a family-attended community event and is not drop-off childcare. Parents and caregivers remain responsible for supervising their children throughout the event, including during indoor activities and any time spent on sanctuary grounds or trails.
- Participation & Safety
  
  Activities may include books, art and maker materials, mathematics manipulatives, natural objects, movement, and outdoor exploration. Depending on weather and programming, families may also spend time on the grounds of Broad Meadow Brook Wildlife Sanctuary.Outdoor environments naturally include uneven surfaces, roots, rocks, insects, plants, weather conditions, and other ordinary features of a natural setting. Families should dress appropriately for the weather and remain together during outdoor portions of the event.
- Emergency Care
  
  In the event of an emergency, Storybook Village staff will first attempt to reach the child’s attending parent or caregiver. If immediate emergency assistance is necessary, emergency services may be contacted.
- Photography & Family Privacy
  
  The Storybook Village protects children’s privacy by design. We do not use identifiable children’s faces in public promotional content. Event photography may focus on learning materials, children’s hands at work, environments, nature experiences, or other non-identifying views.
