  • The Eyes On Health CPR Training Center LLC is committed to maintaining compliance with American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines, course curricula, Instructor Manuals, and the Program Administration Manual (PAM), ensuring high standards for training, evaluation, and administration.
  • Section 2: Scope

  • This policy applies to all individuals and entities associated with the Training Center, including but not limited to:
    - Instructors
    - Aligned Training Sites
    - Training Center Faculty
    - Course Directors
    - Regional Faculty
    - Training Center Coordinators
  • Section 3: Policy 3.1 – Compliance with AHA Guidelines

  • Policy 3.1: All AHA courses conducted under this Training Center must follow the most current AHA Guidelines, course curricula, Instructor Manuals, and the Program Administration Manual (PAM).
  • Section 4: Policy 4.1 – Instructor Requirements

  • Policy 4.1: Instructors must:
    1. Hold current AHA instructor certification in the relevant discipline.
    2. Teach a minimum number of courses per year (as specified by AHA and PAM).
    3. Participate in required updates and training.
    4. Maintain accurate course records and submit them in a timely manner.
  • Section 5: Policy 5.1 – Aligned Training Site Requirements

  • Policy 5.1: Aligned Training Sites must:
    - Adhere to all AHA and Training Center policies and procedures.
    - Ensure all instructors are appropriately credentialed.
    - Maintain facility and equipment standards as outlined in PAM.
  • Section 6: Policy 6.1 – Training Center Faculty Responsibilities

  • Policy 6.1: Training Center Faculty are responsible for:
    - Mentoring instructors
    - Conducting monitoring visits
    - Assisting with instructor development and remediation
  • Section 7: Policy 7.1 – Course Director and Regional Faculty

  • Policy 7.1: Course Directors and Regional Faculty must:
    - Oversee course quality and compliance
    - Ensure all course documentation is complete and accurate
    - Support the Training Center in achieving quality assurance objectives
  • Section 8: Policy 8.1 – Training Center Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Policy 8.1: Training Center Coordinators are responsible for:
    - Administrative oversight of all Training Center operations
    - Ensuring compliance with AHA policies
    - Coordinating communication between AHA, the Training Center, and aligned sites
  • Section 9: Policy 9.1 – Corrective Action, Suspension, and Loss of Status

  • Policy 9.1: Failure to comply with these policies may result in:
    - Corrective action
    - Suspension of privileges
    - Loss of instructor, site, or Training Center status
    - Other actions as outlined in the AHA PAM
  • Section 10: Acknowledgment and Agreement
