Do you meet all the eligibility criteria for this fund?

Does your proposal relate to an existing or future space that is or will be publicly accessible, free of charge?

The space must be accessible to the public, free of charge. Ideally this should be without restriction, although we may accept somewhere that is, for example, closed at night for security reasons, as is the case for many parks.

To help prioritise areas of London for this call, we commissioned a map (link opens in a new tab) based on public data on access to green space, access to nature, indices of deprivation, and brownfield sites. This helped us identify eight priority London boroughs.

To be eligible, your project must be in one of the fund’s priority boroughs. Please select the borough where your project will take place:

To be eligible, your idea or project should also take place in one of the priority areas highlighted in orange on our map. However, we will accept applications for ideas or projects that are not in a priority area if you can convincingly explain why we should make an exception. For example, if you’re proposing to make an existing green space accessible to a global majority community or a community-led restoration of an existing green or blue space.

You can apply for a total of up to £60,000 for the two-year funded period.

The funding is intended to enable you to dedicate meaningful time to your proposed project over two years.
You must be able to dedicate, on average, at least two days per week to your project. This will include half a day per month for cohort sessions.
You can apply for funding for other costs such as events, materials, equipment, and services.
