On Saturday, October 17, 2026 (3–6 PM at Getzendaner Park), the City of Waxahachie is teaming up with 99.5 The Wolf and New Country 96.3 to host the 3rd Annual Trunk-O-Palooza, and this year will be even bigger as we move to a new location! We’re calling on local businesses, first responders, and community groups to help us make it unforgettable by decorating vehicles, handing out candy, and creating a safe, fun Halloween experience for thousands of families.

What’s Required to Participate:
- A branded vehicle (company car, emergency vehicle, delivery van, etc.) — non-branded allowed by exemption (email Danielle Guinn for exemption).
- A decorated “trunk” — truck beds, vans, or other vehicle types all welcome. Prizes awarded for the best designs.
- Candy or giveaways (small toys, stickers, tattoos, etc.) — enough to hand something out to 5,000+ children.
- Responsibility for your own candy, decorations, and supplies.
- Multiple vehicles per organization are allowed (each requires its own application, space permitting).
- At this time, we are not accepting vendors — this event is for trunks only (no sales permitted at this time).
