  • Description of Committees

    Meeting schedules for 2027 are tentative and will be confirmed through a vote at each committee's first meeting.

  • MLS Commitee

    Serving on the MLS Committee is a great way to enhance your professional growth and provide a generous service to your peers. This Committee considers proposed changes to the MLS system, rules, and regulations, has strategic discussions regarding the MLS system function, and discusses MLS compliance. The Committee then forwards their recommendations to the South Central Kansas MLS Board of Directors for approval.

    Current Meeting Schedule: First Monday of each month at 12:30 pm.
    This Committee is a two-year term
    You must be an MLS Participant or Subscriber to serve

     

    CIE Committee
    Share your commercial real estate knowledge, connect with other industry experts, and help grow commercial real estate in our region. The CIE (Commercial Information Exchange) Committee considers proposed changes to the CIE (KSCommercialRE.com), recommends policy and procedural changes, reviews system performance, has strategic discussions regarding the CIE system and discusses CIE compliance.

    Current Meeting Schedule: Meets quarterly

  • Timeline & Process Of Committee Volunteer Submission & Selection

  • September-October Committee applications open September 14 and close October 14 at 5:00 p.m.

    November The President and President-Elect will review applications and select Committee appointments.

    December Notification of appointment and Committees will be contacted by the MLS Staff Liaison, with information about their meetings. Committee members will be required to complete various Association forms required for volunteer leadership (Conflict of Interest, Confidentiality, Antitrust, and Whistleblower Policies).
