  • Show agreement Sales and commission. All accepted work is for sale. No NFS and no POR. Commission is 50 percent to the artist and 50 percent to Cassens Fine Art. On Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, November 27 and 28, buyers receive 10 percent off every work in the show. The discount is split equally between the artist and the gallery. All sales run through Cassens Fine Art, and no outside sales of accepted work are permitted before or during the show. A presold work must still hang in the show and the sale runs through the gallery at the standard commission. Price the work as you price it everywhere else. Title, price, dimensions, and medium cannot change after entry. Payments for December sales are mailed in the first week of January. Payments for November sales are mailed in the first week of December. Framing and hardware. Paintings arrive in a gallery-quality wood frame or floater frame, wired with D-rings. No sawtooth hangers, screw eyes, cleats, or wall buddies. No metal frames, no plastic frames, and no unframed work. Work with damaged or unsuitable framing is set aside until the artist arranges repair at the artist's cost, and is not shown if unresolved by the hang date. Delivery and return. Enter work that is framed, wired, and ready to ship. Shipped work must arrive between November 10 and November 20, 2026, in a commercial reusable art box with a prepaid FedEx or UPS return label inside. Hand deliveries are accepted through Saturday, November 21 at 5:00 p.m. Unsold work ships back January 5 to 9, 2027 on the artist's label. Work that arrives without a return label is held until the artist provides one. Include a completed IRS Form W-9 inside the box. A $25 uncrating and administration fee applies to any shipped work that arrives without a compliant reusable art box, without a prepaid return label inside, or without a W-9; Cassens Fine Art invoices the artist for the fee. Work that arrives as instructed carries no fee. Liability. All entries are made at the risk of the entrant. Cassens Fine Art is not liable for loss, theft, or damage, including in transit. Artists insure their own work in transit and on the premises. Submitted images are assumed to be accurate. Work that differs markedly from its image is disqualified on arrival. Images and withdrawal. The artist retains copyright. By entering, the artist grants Cassens Fine Art permission to use images of the work for exhibition publicity, archival records, and future promotion of the gallery and the Annual Small Works Show. An artist who withdraws an accepted work before the show closes is not eligible to enter a Cassens Fine Art exhibition for the two following years. Decisions. Michelle Cassens selects the show. Decisions are final and individual feedback is not provided. Notices are sent by email on Friday, October 30, 2026.
